Halo Infinite: A new campaign demonstration reveals details of the game

After the re-reveal of the Halo Infinite Campaign carried out by 343 Industries two weeks ago, the American portal IGN is now thinking of showing us again the single player component of the game, in a mix of scenarios already seen and new sequences.

The movie gives us a new look at the game's fights, open world outposts and Upgrades to the Master Chief's armor that we can unlock over the course of the game, such as the Grappleshot grappling hook and the Repepulsor.

One of the interesting things revealed by the video is that, when we defeat a "boss" enemy, we can collect his unique weapons, which can then be used later and recalled at our bases as for UNSC equipment. Regarding the outposts that we will encounter in the open world, however, we discover that once we have cleaned them of the enemies that occupy them they will be occupied by our allied Marines and we can use them as supply points to recall weapons and vehicles. As we occupy enemy bases, we will earn "Value" that will allow us to unlock new equipment that can be called up at the bases. In addition to these "open world" outposts, we will then find more complex and internally branched bases, in which many missions of the main story will take place.

Regarding the upgrades of the Master Chief's equipment, it is explained that while we explore the map we will find special UNSC crates containing objects called Spartan Cores. These will then be expendable to improve our equipment, such as equipping the Grappleshot with an electrified charge or enhancing the resistance of the Overshield shield.

The video also reveals the presence of a special short-range radar that we can use to reveal the location of the objects to be collected.

We leave you to the movie: good vision!
