Microsoft announces new May arrivals in Game Pass, including Mechwarrior 5 and Maneater

Microsoft today announced the next arrivals in the Game Pass, scheduled for the second half of the month. Along with some already known news confirmations (such as the inclusion of SnowRunner starting today), we also find other interesting surprises: let's see in detail the calendar of console game releases!

Available from today May 18, Snowrunner represents a definite addition to the catalog and deserves with the opportunity to be "discovered" by a greater number of players, as it does not seem to have reached the notoriety it would have deserved (to deepen, you have our review).
To see how inspiring it can be to go on the adventure with the mighty beasts that the game makes available, don't miss the live show on Friday 21st at 5 pm on the MondoXbox Twitch channel.

It will arrive on May 20th, directly at the day-one on Game Pass, The Wild at Heart,action-adventure in which the imagination of the creators has indulged in creating a colorful (and hand-drawn) world but at the same time chock-full of mysteries and dangers. An indie game that "risks" being a pleasant surprise for all subscribers.

The next day, May 21,it will be the turn of The Catch: Carp & Coarse Fishing,a title dedicated to fans of fishing games. Released last year, it can be considered as the best interpretation of the genre currently available.

On the same day, EA Knockout City's new multiplayer title will also debut, and will be included directly on day one in Electronic Arts' EA Play service. This means that if you subscribe to the Ultimate Game Pass, you can play this sly and futuristic reinterpretation of dodgeball (aka, the dear old "poisoned ball") as part of your membership.
To get a better idea of the game, you can see it in action that night on our Twitch channel, starting at 9 pm.

We change week, arriving on May 25, the day the Game Pass will salute the arrival in the Maneaterfamily, the bizarre action-RPG that allows you to step into the shoes of a killer shark. Very fun and well received by the public and critics, it certainly represents an addition of value to the service catalog.

As for Conan Exiles, the news of his inclusion in the Game Pass had been spread for some time. Now we also know the precise date: to try this (not very lucky) survival-RPG by Funcom, we will have to wait for the May 27.

But the real highlight of Thursday 27 May, if not the whole month, is undoubtedly thearrival at day one of Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries. In fact, piranha games robotics, already present on PC for some time, just that day will land exclusively Xbox consoles, as we already knew . What was not yet known was the inclusion in the Game Pass, definitely a great way to celebrate the debut of this important exclusive console!

And with this "closure with a bang", our review of the new arrivals in the Game Pass announced for the second half of May also ends.

We also conclude by pointing out the numerous additions to the catalog of games that can be played through Cloud Gaming, including some old arcade-flavored glories such as Joyride Turbo, Peggle 2 and Fusion Frenzy, and that for other games already available via Cloud Gaming the possibility of using special touch controls without the need for a controller (among others: Genesis Noir, Narita Boy and Nier: Automata) has been added.

We remind you that Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that, at a cost of 9.99 Euros per month, allows you to play freely and without limitation all the titles included in the service, with new games that are added every month. You can buy it from this page on the Microsoft Store, or make a single subscription to Game Pass + Live Gold + EA Play + Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which can be purchased from this page.
