Cronos Lazarus; Cronos The New Dawn prequel DLC arrives in December
Set before the events of the main game, Cronos: Lazarus will put us in the shoes of the Pathfinder, elite agent of the Collective, allowing us to reconstruct the series of events that turned him into the Warden. The story will expand on what was seen in the original chapter, revealing new background on the Collective and the consequences of those who dare to challenge its authority, within a dangerous mission that will show the darkest side of the Cronos universe.
To make life difficult for us will be the Tracker, a ruthless emissary of the Collective unleashed to flush us out before we can complete a recovery mission that the organization must never know about. The new enemy will hunt us relentlessly, and escaping its pursuit will be one of the main challenges of the expansion.
On the gameplay front we will find the third-person survival horror typical of Bloober Team, with its dark and oppressive atmospheres, intense clashes and survival linked to careful management of resources. However, the pace will be more frenetic, with a more aggressive combat that will reward quick reflexes and tactical precision. To get the better of it we will be able to count on new abilities: teleportation will allow us to quickly reposition ourselves, while a diversion will distract enemies making us invisible for a short time. The Gladius will also debut, an even faster and more lethal weapon than the dagger of the original game.
And if you haven't played Cronos: The New Dawn yet, the Halloween period could be the right one to catch up: the game will in fact be discounted by 50% on the XBOX store.
We leave you now to the story trailer, enjoy!
