After several rumors that had anticipated it, now the new chapter of Bethesda's fantasy saga finally has an official name: the publisher confirmed today that the next Elder Scrolls will be titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel.

The announcement came rather unexpectedly, within a special video of about eight minutes dedicated to the celebrations for the fortieth anniversary of the studio. The name of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel appears right at the end of the video, accompanied by an enigmatic phrase: "The scroll has granted me only a glow, a veil barely lifted before my eyes. A lost future. A victory annulled. The sands of time dispersed by fate. ”

According to recent rumors, the game will investigate the very origins of the Elder Scrolls, the Elder Scrolls, mysterious and powerful artifacts that encapsulate the history, the past and all the possible futures of the world of The Elder Scrolls. We can't wait to find out more, although we will probably have to wait another year or two before the game is revealed!

We now leave you to the short teaser of the revelation of the title.
