As E3 approaches, rumors inevitably become more and more insistent. And it is precisely a new indiscretion that we are talking to you today, launched as in the past by the always attentive journalist Jez Corden and later dribbled by his colleague Jeff Grubb.

Corden revealed, in a series of tweets,that he had tangible evidence of conversations between Microsoft and IO Interactive (Hitman and the new Project 007) for the development of a new "dredged" IP. According to the journalist, the project was recently approved, and the Danish study is preparing to produce it (a sign that, therefore, it will take a few years before it is seen or even announced).

Grubb then added to this, who said on a private Discord channel: " Since WC talked [Windows Central, il sito di Corden] about it, I can say what I know. It will be a Diablo game with a behind-the-shoulder view."

For now, nothing else has been said about it: from these clues it would seem that it is a fantasy title,based on dragons and with looter-RPG components such as Diablo,but with a view to the God of War. Will that really be the case? If the project is really at the beginning, we will probably not find out too soon.
