Konami invites us to try Castlevania: Belmont's Curse in the playable demo

Great news for metroidvania lovers and for one of the great progenitors of the genre: Konami has today published the playable demo of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, which will allow us to preview the first levels of the game, waiting for the launch set for October 15th. In addition, everything we do in the demo will not be lost, because progress can be transferred to the final game after purchase.

As usual, the porting of progress will only work if we have played the demo and the full game on the same platform and with the same account. Konami also specifies that in the demo some features and content may be limited.

Born from the collaboration between Konami, Evil Empire and Motion Twin, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse takes us to Paris in 1499, twenty-three years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. Guiding us will be Rose Belmont, daughter of the legendary Trevor Belmont, engaged in hunting monsters through the streets of the French capital and inside Dracula's castle. To make our way we will be able to count on a wide range of weapons and abilities, starting with the sacred whip "Vampire Killer".

Pre-orders are also already open, for both physical and digital editions. The Midnight Edition, available in both formats, adds alternate costumes for Rose Belmont, a digital Sound & Art Gallery and a relic item to use in-game to the base game. Pre-order or purchase any edition of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse in advance and we will also receive an extra costume for Rose inspired by Alucard.

All you have to do is download the demo, while in the following trailer you can get a taste of the contents. Enjoy!
