The horror-Western FPS of Crytek Hunt: Showdown is now available in Game preview

After a period of beta for the Insider, Crytek released today to surprise the Game Preview version of Hunt: Showdown for the price of 29.99 euros, allowing all Xbox One owners to play the title contributing to the development Until the exit of the final version.

Hunt: Showdown is a COMPETITIVE PVP FPS with PvE elements, from the same authors of Crysis; The game plunges us into an old West invaded by monstrous beings, in a hunt for the bounty that sees us fight against both the other players and against these horriorifices beings. This is the description that gives us the developer:

Ferocious nightmare monsters roam the swamps of Louisiana, and you're part of a group of strong gunmen who have sworn to liberate mankind from that infernal presence. Sweep away these creatures from our world and you will be paid handsomely, so you could buy more and more powerful and bloodless weapons. Fail, and death will take you away character and equipment. Your experience, however, will always remain in your squad of hunters, called the lineage.

GREAT Risks, BIG rewards, HIGH voltage

Hunt's gameplay, competitive and game-based, combines PVP and PVE elements to create an extraordinarily tense experience where your life, character and equipment are constantly in danger. At the beginning of each game, up to five teams formed by two players put themselves on the trail of their monstrous targets. Just found and defeated one of these will receive a reward, but will also become a target for all other hunters on the map. If you don't watch your back there you will find a well-planted knife, and your last memory will be another team of hunters who strays with your reward. The higher the risk, the higher the reward, but a single mistake could cost you everything.

Hunt's quick Match mode offers a shorter showdown, in which up to 10 players clash against each other to recover equipment and close four rips, while the available rewards gradually dwindle. The first to close the last gash will absorb the energy, but will have to survive a last countdown to complete the mission... While the other hunters will try to kill him and subtract the reward. When the time ends, the winner keeps his hunter, while the others are killed.

Progress

Even as a dead man you will be able to progress through the ranks of the hunters through your lineage. Even if a character can die, his experience will be transferred to the lineage, where he can be applied to other hunters. If you can get out of the map alive, you will be able to use the money and experience gained to equip new hunters and prepare for the next game. If you die, you will lose everything except experience.

DARK VISION

The dark vision allows the hunters to see beyond the veil that separates the worlds, making what is not visible to the ordinary mortals visible to those who have been initiated. Use the dark vision when you're on the trail of monsters and a ghostly light will guide you to your next target. The dark Vision also signals the players in possession of a reward, making them more vulnerable to ambush during the escape.

We leave you to the launch trailer that shows us the gameplay of the title: Good vision.
