NPD: U.S. sales for the month of January
If Sony celebrates the first place, Microsoft found its part welcomes the fact that on the Xbox One is selling more games per console than the competition: as saying that Xbox owners spend more money on video games. Nintendo continues to do by bringing up the tail with his Wii U, which with about 63,000 units sold less than half of the Xbox One. Unfortunately we have no numerical data for the other two platforms, we know only that the Microsoft console has surpassed sales of January 2014, so did more than 140,000 pieces.
We come finally to the ranking software, dominated this month from Dying Light (in the USA the game came out in stores, as opposed to Europe) who scored a record number of "new best selling taking IP to launch", previously recorded by The Evil Within . Follow the usual suspects like the blockbuster of the Christmas period just ended and Minecraft , which still does not want to give up the Top 10 although it is now long gone. The complete leaderboard.
