The guys at GSC Game World, directly from their studios in Kiev, have released a new and evocative video showcase dedicated to Cost of Hope, the new expansion of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl arriving on August 20th. The footage is designed to give us an in-depth look at the new locations introduced in the new story, allowing us to take a closer look at the dark twists and turns of the Chornobyl Power Plant and the pitfalls of the Iron Forest.

While waiting for the launch of the expansion, the developers wanted to pique our curiosity by confirming that we will finally have access to previously unexplored portions of the Zone. Venturing into them, however, will not be a walk in the park: reaching some of these new areas could in fact prove to be much more complex and dangerous than we could ever imagine, requiring all our stalker skills.
