During tonight's THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2026 , the horror masters of Tarsier Studios surprisingly announced, making it immediately available, a new chapter of their terrifying cooperative adventure REANIMAL. It is "The Prisoner", the first of a series of three additional contents planned for the game.

The pack, which can be purchased separately or downloaded at no additional cost if you already own the Season Pass or the Digital Deluxe Edition of REANIMAL, will make us take on the role of two completely new characters: the Soldier and the Prisoner. Controlling these new protagonists we will have to explore, on foot and through other modes, areas of the game world never seen before.

Our goal will be to survive by groping our way through the conflict-torn streets of a city that was once familiar to us, pushing us into a dark abyss that will change our lives forever. In the course of the adventure we will come to understand a raw and frightening truth: as much as war can be a real hell, there are much worse atrocities out there waiting for us.
