Phil Spencer: Microsoft Xbox will remain at home

After the rumor that Microsoft and Amazon in talks on a possible sale of the entire Xbox and after the announcement by the House of Redmond that Devices & Services will be led by Stephen Elop, former CEO of Nokia which was felt both Xbox and Bing of uncomfortable tasks for a company that was supposed to focus only on its flagship products, Xbox fans have begun to worry that the video game industry was overshadowed by the company. Instead today come from Phil Spencer reassuring statements.

Spencer said that the company's commitment to Xbox has not changed compared to the past.  Although development teams within Microsoft are not too involved in specific high-level discussions, these comunqu have received a lot of support from Microsoft management.

" Our task ," says Spencer, " is to create great games on Xbox, Windows and Windows Phone and are planning big things in terms of commitment by Satya (Nadella, Microsoft's new CEO, ndt) that the same Stephen Elop." The three have had explicit conversations about the Microsoft commitment to Xbox.

At this point, there remains that reassure us about the future of the console and hope they get better products.
