Capcom announced during TGS a playable demo of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse available from October 1st, exactly two weeks before the launch of the full game, set for October 15th. The free trial will allow us to face the opening chapter of the adventure, and the progress obtained can be transferred to the final version.

To take the saves with us, however, it will be necessary to comply with some conditions: demo and full game must be used on the same platform and with the same account, the save data of the demo must be kept and the full version must be updated to the latest release available at the time of transfer. Konami also warns that some features and content may be limited in the demo, without specifying which.

On the technical front, the demo will run at 60 FPS on XBOX Series X|S, while the required space will be 5 GB.

Announced in February among the titles with which Konami decided to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse will take us to the Paris of 1499, where we will play the role of Rose Belmont, heir to Trevor Belmont and last descendant of the famous lineage of vampire hunters. The story takes place 23 years after the events of Castlevania: Dracula's Curse, the third chapter of the saga published in 1989, and you can read our hands-on preview from gamescom here.
