SEGA brings us back to the role of Kazuma Kiryu and more with Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties
Yakuza Kiwami 3 is presented as the complete remake of the third chapter of the saga. The story will take us back to Okinawa, the tropical prefecture of Japan, where we will follow the story of Kazuma Kiryu and his adopted daughter Haruka Sawamura, engaged in managing the Morning Glory orphanage. When the government and the Yakuza threaten their property, Kiryu will have to fight again to defend what he holds dear. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up, improving every aspect of the original title with new cutscenes and new side activities to bring the Okinawa and Kamurocho areas to life. On the combat front, we will be able to choose between two styles: the "Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami", a powerful melee style, and the new "Ryukyu style", based on the use of eight different types of weapons and inspired by the traditional martial arts of Okinawa. There will also be the "Legendary Bad Boy, Dragon Bad Boy" mode, where we will have to create our own biker gang to protect the streets of Okinawa.
The second part of the package is Dark Ties, a completely new story that will allow us, for the first time, to take on the role of Yoshitaka Mine, one of the antagonists of Yakuza 3. The game will explore the origins of Mine and the events that led him to immerse himself in the world of the Yakuza. We will fight enemies using a combat system focused on boxing and explore the streets of Kamurocho discovering a new side of the character. Among the game modes, "Dark Awakening" stands out, which will allow us to unleash the fury of Mine in battle with relentless combos, and the "Infernal Arena", a clandestine fighting club with unique rules and a survival mode in which we will have to make our way through a dungeon resisting the attacks of numerous opponents.
We leave you with the announcement trailer and a set of images.
