Untold Tales and demagog studio today announced The Cub, a platform game with parkour movements with modern 2D graphics but inspired by the great SEGA classics such as The Jungle Book, Aladdin and Lion King. The developers explain that the game will see us circling through the ruins of civilization, as we face hybrid species of flora and fauna and solve insidious environmental puzzles.

A hunted puppy

Following the Great Environmental Catastrophe, the wealthiest flee to Mars and those who remain are destined to die. Among them remains a child immune to the hostilities of the planet. Decades later, the colonists of Mars return to scour the Earth. Finding the human puppy, the "Cub", they try to catch him. It is the beginning of a journey made of escapes, exploration and discovery among metropolitan ruins, a frantic chase between cats and mice.

A narrative world
