Ubisoft has announced that it will preview Far Cry 6 running on Xbox Series X today at 18:00. As per tradition, Far Cry 6 is a game in its own right with no connection to the previous chapters of the series, and takes place in the fictional nation of Yara,a fictional country based on Cuba.

In the game we will also find cooperative multiplayer, which will allow players to enjoy the game world together with friends. While the story missions will be dedicated to the single player, there will be online activities dedicated to co-op. In addition, Far Cry 6 will have post-launch content and a season pass.

Narrative director Navid Khavari said Far Cry 6 will address political themes by exploring topics such as fascism, imperialism, forced labor and LGBTQ+ rights. The game is out on October 7th.
