SEGA today announced the development for our consoles of Koyoharu Gotouge's popular manga/anime work, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Coming october 15, Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is an action game developed by the Japanese CyberConnect2 and will obviously put us in the shoes of young Tanjiro, who becomes a demon slayer to avenge his family slaughtered by a demon.

The only survivor of the massacre is Tanjiro's younger sister, Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon: the boy then embarks on a task to turn his sister into a human being and kill the demon who slaughtered his family.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will allow players to relive the moments of the narrative arcs "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve" and "Mugen Train". These are the main features of the game:

• Hilarious battles in the arena – Master the multitude of spectacular skills from an extensive list of anime characters, including Tanjiro and Nezuko, to overcome challengers in head-to-head, local, and online battles.
• Moving Drama – Take Tanjiro Kamado's sword and follow his journey to become a Demon Slayer and turn his sister Nezuko back into a human being.
• Exciting boss battles - Action and drama reach their climax in specially designed battles against powerful demons that will test Tanjiro's courage.
• Original vocal cast of the anime – The original British and Japanese casts of the anime return to bring their authentic portraits to the game.
