Sea of Thieves: "Crypto Raiders" event, new clue from Rare and BAFTA award

This is definitely a golden moment for Sea of Thieves, rare's famous pirate title and now undoubtedly the most successful title of the British house. After announcing last week that they will reach 20 million players, Craig Duncan's team is preparing to introduce more news to the gaming experience, as well as celebrating important recognition.

Let's start with the game's news: from March 25 to April 15, a new event called Crypt Raiderswill be active, the description of which reads: Unknown Forces are plundering gold hunter warehouses: they must run for cover to protect their loot! During the Crypt Raiders event, pirates who take on gold hunters' journeys and recover treasure chest treasures will gain hunter favors; in addition, every week some deeds will be particularly rewarded. The more favors you get, the closer you get to a mountain of shiny rewards.

The event consists of taking from Larinna the crypt quest (beware, it will be the same for all the crew!), obtaining the key to open it and emptying them as much loot as possible, before falling victim to greed. The more chests are delivered, the more Gold Hunters will earn, including a brand new set of weapons for your pirate.

Another novelty is then a mysterious teaser image released by Rare, which you find at the bottom, which has all the air of being a riddle written in the dark language of the damned, probably connected to the next big event. What will come in the seas of Sea of Thieves? Maybe just during the launch of Season Two?

And finally, it's also time for celebration! Yesterday, at the last BAFTA Awards, Sea of Thieves won the award for BestEvolving Game, the right recognition of Rare's incredible workinconstantly growing and expanding the game, making it one of the most successful examples of the Game as a Service title. Really a great time to be a buccaneer in the colorful seas of Sea of Thieves!
