Acclaimed Indie RPG Undertale arrives tomorrow on Xbox, included in the Game Pass

Studio 8-4 announced that tomorrow, March 16, the popular retro-graphics RPG Undertalewill arrive on Xbox and u Xbox Game Pass, which since its pc release five years ago has received rave ratings from the press and the public.

Below you will find the official announcement of the developer, along with a trailer announcing the new version of the game.

Finally Undertale is coming to Xbox! For the first time ever, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players will have the chance to experience one of indie gaming's most beloved role-playing games when it launches on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, March 16.

As many of you know, Undertale is nothing new in the world of video games. In fact, last September we celebrated the fifth anniversary of its original PC release with a free concert streamed on YouTube (which you should definitely see - after you've finished the game, of course!) But the wonderful thing about Undertale is that, despite its retro-inspired graphics – which certainly evoke memories of some of the 16-bit classics of yesass of yesasting time – the experience itself is still very fresh and distinct.

In Undertale, every monster is an individual and every interaction is unique; you can choose to fight, or you can choose to show pity - and how you play and what you choose will affect the outcome of the story. With a hilarious and moving cast of captivating characters, an incredibly catchy soundtrack, and truly outstanding RPG gameplay, it's no surprise that the game continues to surprise and delight new players to this day.

If you've been paying attention, you may have noticed that the aforementioned PC version of Undertale has been available on the Microsoft Store for a while. While the Xbox version offers a largely similar experience, there are some Xbox-specific enhancements designed to make time more comfortable for those playing on a home console. For this reason, the progress and save data between the two versions are unfortunately not compatible. But this also means that, as with previous console versions, the Xbox version has its own little... sanctuary, you could say... exclusive content to keep an eye on.

We know it's been a long time, but we're extremely excited to finally bring Undertale to Xbox players around the world. Whether it's the first time you've explored the underworld or the fiftieth, we hope the experience is unforgettable!

Undertale will be available on March 16 with Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and will be available for purchase from the Xbox Microsoft Store for $14.99 (does not support Xbox Play Anywhere).
