Shadows of the Damned and two other titles will soon be removed from the Game Pass

Like every beginning of the month, in these early days of February, arrival and departure announcements animate the news related to Xbox Game Pass. After giving you an account of the games that will become part of the catalog later this month, here we are analyzing the "painful" chapter of the releases.

The case of Shadows of the Damned, releasedin 2011 for Xbox 360 but playable in retrocompatibility, is particularly interesting and makes history in its own right. The game will actually be removed from the EA Play catalog, and therefore only reflexively will no longer be available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

The removal of the game from EA Play, which is completely anomalous for the service, is the result of a much more drastic event: Shadows of the Damned will in fact be delisted, thus disappearing completely from the digital store, due to the expiry of the publishing agreements between EA and the developer Grasshopper Manufacture.

We have already witnessed a similar event last year, only to see the game "reappear". It is therefore not to be excluded that shadows of the damned may return to the catalog in the future, but if you want to make sure you do not miss this appreciated work of the famous game designer Suda51, you have until February 16 to play it as part of EA Play.

It should be noted that, as always in these cases, those who have a physical or digital copy of the game can continue to play Shadows of the Damned even after that date, beyond which the game will no longer be available for purchase online.

Also around the middle of the month, to be precise on day 15, the other two removalsfrom Xbox Game Pass will take place : it is Ninja Gaiden II, another action title released for Xbox 360, and the original puzzle-platformerr Mr de Blob.
