Microsoft relaxes restrictions to ask for a digital refund of Cyberpunk 2077

Following the many issues found on the old-gen console versions of Cyberpunk 2077,although CD Projekt RED is releasing hotfixes very quickly (from today the 1.05 is available which also improves HDR support on consoles) many players remain dissatisfied with their purchase.

Microsoft has therefore now announced that it has relaxed, in the case of Cyberpunk 2077,the restrictions for requesting a refund of the digital purchase: normally you can only ask for a digital refund if you have not played a title for more than 2 hours and in any case no later than 14 days from purchase, while for the Title of CDPR Microsoft will make an exception by guaranteeing refunds to anyone who requests it (this is the procedure to follow).

Of course, the refund will also correspond to the deactivation of the game on your Account: Microsoft will return the money to you, but then you will no longer be able to play the title, as is correct.

The game remains on sale on the Xbox Store, unlike PlayStation where it was completely removed : this is because on Sony consoles the title has more serious problems also presenting multiple crashes that do not happen on Xbox, so Sony and CDPR have agreed in the interruption of sales, in fact giving rise to a kind of "digital temporal exclusive" in favor of Xbox.
