Destiny 2 next-gen patch arrives in December, introduces FOV slider

Bungie revealed today that the announced Destiny 2 next-gen patch will arriveon December 8 by introducing 4K resolution to 60 fps on Xbox Series X 4K a 60 fps it will go to 1080p always at 60 fps. But that's not all: the game will introduce an FOV slider onthe next-gen consoles, so that players can better calibrate the graphics/performance ratio.

For those who do not know it, the FOV Slider is a graphic setting very common in the PC world but rather rare on consoles, which allows the player to decide the width of the field of view. The larger this is, the more we see settings in front of us, but that also means that the GPU has more objects to render by impacting the frame-rate.

We remind you that the Beyond the Light expansion of Destiny 2will arrive on November 10, but now we know that to enjoy next-gen optimizations we will have to wait another month.
