Minecraft Dungeons: third DLC announced, cross-play update

The latest effort by Mojang Studios launched less than six months ago, Minecraft Dungeons,is booming and sailing towards the newly announced third DLC, Howling Peaks.

Coming out next December, Howling Peaks continues the path of previousDLCs (Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter)) in smoothing playability, adding missions and game modes to ensure a fresh experience for both veteran players and those approaching Minecraft Dungeons for the first time.

Howling Peaks will introduce a new island with several new levels, rugged snowy mountain peaks to climb and a new boss (Tempest Golem) to defeat. Of course there will be new missions and a good amount of new and different equipment; For players looking for new challenges, the maximum level of difficulty will be raised and, as a result, the maximum level of experience that the characters can reach. All this will result in the ability to acquire new and more powerful objects to sow destruction in this square moral heir of Diablo.

In addition to this, Mojang also updates us on the long-awaited arrival of cross-play:the developers explain that by the end of the year Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC players will finally be able to come together to put to the iron and fire some underground darkness populated by unsuspecting monsters.
