Milestone today announced MXGP 2020,the new officially licensed FIM Motocross World Championship motocross title that will be available from December 10. This edition of the game will see us compete with 68 drivers from both the MXGP and MX2 categories on the 19 circuits of the 2020 season. Starting as a rookie, we can make our way to glory, joining an official team or creating our own.

The game will also see the return of the Track Editor,which will introduce the new Heightmaps feature to allow us to replicate the true configurations of MX tracks, often built on hills and mountains, adding realism to all the challenges we will create. There will be 4 different types of terrain that we can choose and customize: plain, quarry, vineyard and forest. All new tracks created can be shared online with friends.

Playgroundmode will return, with a new setting inspired by the norwegian fjords's terrain where we can test our driving skills; this year's novelty is the chance to play the Playground with 3 other friends online, but this feature will not be added until after launch.

The Multiplayer mode of MXGP 2020 will be enhanced with dedicated servers for a lag-free gameplay experience and Race Director mode, also coming post-launch, to create exciting online tournaments, deciding starting positions, assigning penalties or choosing cameras to focus on.
