Chilean studio Playmestudio has announced that the thriller adventure The Signifier,coming to PC in October, will also arrive on our consoles (for now without next-gen optimizations) at the beginning of 2021. The game will see us personally investigate a crime, looking for evidence at the crime scene and talking to witnesses, with the possibility of also visiting a virtual reconstruction of memories taken from the victim's brain to try to understand how they were killed.

In The Signifier we play as Frederick Russell, an expert in psychology and AI and pioneering inventor of the experimental brain scanner called Dreamwalker,a controversial technology that allows you to explore sensory memories and the realms of the unconscious. Thanks to this technology we will be asked to solve a mystery: the vice president of the world's largest technology multinational was found dead in her apartment. So we'll find ourselves exploring real, surreal worlds and solving puzzles as we try to uncover the truth.
