Halo veteran Joseph Staten joins 343 Industries as Project Leader for the Campaign

343 Industries and Microsoft announced this morning a major addition to the staff of Halo Infinite: Joseph Staten,a veteran who has worked on the Master Chief series as head of history and cut-scenes since the very first Halo (and author of two of the most popular halo novels, Contact on Harvest and Shadow of Intent)and then move into Bungie until 2014 as head of the history of the first game, he took on a top leadership role in the production of the game as Project Leader of the Campaign.

Staten, who after his experience with Destiny returned to Microsoft as Creative Director of Microsoft Studios (now Xbox Game Studios) following the narrative development of many titles(ReCore, Halo Wars, Crackdown 3 and the upcoming Tell Me Why among those he followed most closely), will devote himself to Halo Infinite until the confirmed launch for 2021,suing the other managers of the studio to have all the means to fully realize the vision of the game.

But Staten is not the only novelty in 343 Industries: even the multiplayer industry, which as we know will be released in free-to-play form, has a new Project Leader: it is Pierre Hintze, who so far has led the development and testing program of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Microsoft is therefore empowering the studio's management staff to make sure everything goes well until launch. We look forward to further developments, hoping to see the multiplayer sector of the title soon!
