Phantasy Star Online 2 arrives in 2020 on Xbox One as free-to-play

We recover another important announcement of the Xbox conference last night: SEGA announced that, after years of fan requests, the online RPG Phantasy Star Online 2 finally arrives in the West exclusively on Xbox One, after Be released on several platforms in Japan from 2012 onwards.

The title will come as free-to-play on our consoles (but for now there is no confirmation of the European publication, although it is extremely likely) in the spring 2020, be hosted by Microsoft's Azure servers and will immerse us in a universe to explore and Full of missions to be carried out with other players, with always new experiences thanks to procedurally generated maps and unexpected events.

The free-to-play formula provides for the presence of all free content: There will be no levels or missions to unlock with real money, but there will still be a microtransaction system for "players who need help in their Enterprises". The game will also support cross-play WITH the PC version, thus further enriching the number of players online.

We leave you to the announcement trailer of the new version: Good vision!
