A spectacular Anthem trailer explains the concept of "our world, my story"

On the occasion of PAX West in Seattle, EA and BioWare have shown one of the concepts behind Anthem , the new cooperative action-RPG to arrive on February 22: our world, my story . This sentence is the fact that the world of the game will be shared and experienced by all players, but that everyone can create their own personal history, different from everyone else.

The concept is explained in a beautiful trailer for two and a half minutes that also shows us several new gameplay sequences, both during missions in the game world that at Fort Tarshish, the main citadel where we can receive missions, evolving our character and learn about many of the characters in the history of the game.

However, the comment of the trailer is in English, we present below a description of the concept expressed by the developers.

The essence of Anthem is summed up in the concept " our world, my story ": the combination of a world shared on one side and a personal story in single player mode on the other, in a single experience.

OUR WORLD

One of the most amazing features of Anthem is that his shared world manages to synchronize the weather, day/night cycle, and even large-scale events for all players in the world (through the use of dedicated servers). When your friends across the hemisphere are in your group, you can be sure that they are seeing the same environmental conditions you see. This is important because there may be some events that are activated only during the day or only at night.

This is the part of "our world". Imagine you're out on a mission, it's dark and there's a storm. You have a problem of visibility and you and your friends try the same things in the same instant. This creates shared moments of hype which highlight the importance of team spirit and be United in triumph. You can join a group of friends in the game and help them fulfill their missions, or choose to explore the world of Anthem at your own pace and face after your next adventure multiplayer.

The world of Anthem is dynamic, and will undergo tremendous changes with the head of the game. How can I reconcile this with a significant plot in single player? That is where comes into play "my story".

MY STORY

When you return to Fort Tarshish, steps to your personal experience as a game in single player. Here you will establish your friendships, make choices, and you will see the consequences of your actions. Your decisions have an impact on the world around you, then the residents of Fort Tarshish will react accordingly. They will remember how you interacted with them in the past and may not be particularly happy.

You'll also meet your peers, and get to know them a little better over the course of the game. Your squad members are accommodated with you on your mobile base of operations, imposing, but here at Fort Tarshish, between missions, and the other, have a chance to stretch their legs. When the characters will trust you, are willing to share personal information and give you more details about the story otherwise you may never know.

Exploring the city-fortress, you will be in contact with agents seeking your help as a specialist. These missions will take you to meet the factions who move into the world of Anthem, and will pave the way to new possible relations with the agents themselves. Each mission you complete will better understand the factions around you, along with your responsibility as a specialist.

And after taking a look around, accepted new missions and contracts, and maybe giving a fresh coat of paint to your arrow, you can again get back into the wilds of Anthem.

OUR WORLD, MY STORY

"Our world, my story" is crucial to the gaming experience of Anthem. This vast world will be shaped by events on a global scale, dynamic and shared, but individual players will still have the opportunity to do just the world through personal choices.

Go ahead with your personal history enriches the missions you can take in the shared world, and your own missions worldwide shared will enrich the depth of your personal history. These two components of "our world, my story" are linked seamlessly, creating a richer gaming experience for each specialist.

The fate of Fort Tarshish, specialists, and practically the whole of humanity is on your shoulders, and it's up to you to decide how you will act in the unfinished world of Anthem.
