Rumor: Microsoft preparing the arrival of the mouse and keyboard on Xbox One agreed with Razer

As we know, Microsoft has long been working on the introduction of support for mouse and keyboard on Xbox One , already on Edge and Minecraft-fully playable with the same controls your PC-but not yet landed in third party titles. Windows Central has now received evidence that the House of Redmond is actively working on support for mouse and keyboard, creating a dedicated device in partnership with Razer.

The UK site is in fact come into possession of certain documents for developers of games for Xbox One in which explains that the libraries to use mouse and keyboard in games would be available by April; Since then studies could introduce, if they wanted him, support for PC controls in their future games.

In the Microsoft documentation also lists some guidelines for using these devices: first, the games cannot use the mouse and keyboard as the only input system, but must always and necessarily also support the standard controllers. Also there is no requirement for developers on how to balance the use of different input systems in multiplayer titles, but it is strongly suggested that the procedures of matchmaking will enable players to decide whether to play or not with who controls other than its own. Microsoft explains that the console will support all standard mouse and keyboard via USB devices, as well as all those that use wireless USB for connection. Will not be supported instead the custom drivers or devices that use bluetooth to connect to PC.

If these are the plans of Microsoft software on the front, it looks like they're moving something on that hardware: Windows Central is reporting that Microsoft is working with the manufacturer of accessories for gaming Razer version branded Xbox Razer Turret , a wireless keyboard and mouse kit already on PC and meant to be used easily from sofa, on their own feet instead of on a table; the perfect mouse and keyboard kit for the console, in fact.

Windows Central specifies, however, that these might be old plans for Microsoft and that in the meantime all or something may have changed. There was no mention of E3 Xbox One games with mouse and keyboard, so we'll have to wait for future news about.
