The gothic action-RPG Crimson Moon arrives on September 1st, new trailer
In Crimson Moon we will be catapulted into a dark and decadent Renaissance setting with the aim of reconquering the fallen city of Gildenarch. To do so we will take on the role of a Nephilim, a half-human, half-angelic hybrid being created specifically to defend humanity from the forces of hell. Leveraging supernatural powers, weapons of all kinds and a deadly souls-like sword combat system, we will have to fight our way through an ever-evolving horde made up of demons, vampires, undead and hellish abominations, culminating in ruthless clashes against the legendary Gods Dead.
The gameplay will make flexibility and visceral action its strengths, allowing us to carry out unique executions for each type of enemy and to unleash temporary angelic transformations with which to devastate the opposing ranks. During our sessions we will be able to unlock new modifiers, skills and options, exploring the different districts of a living city that reacts to our actions. Between one attempt and another we will be able to return to the headquarters of the Church, our base of operations where we can plan the next assault through the War Table, interact with secondary characters and apply permanent upgrades to our character. The adventure can be tackled solo or in two-player co-op, with a dynamic difficulty balance that will allow us to share lives, revive companions and create powerful team synergies.
Finally, the details relating to the versions that can be purchased at the debut have been disclosed. In addition to the Standard Edition offered at 19,99 Euros, we will be able to opt for the Deluxe Edition at the price of 29,99 Euros, which will include the base game, the expansion of the content that will be released after launch and two downloadable packs dedicated to the ceremonial armor set and the axe of the gods.
We now leave you with a new trailer that shows us the action of the game: enjoy!
