Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have released a new video dedicated to the development of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the long-awaited remake of Lara Croft's very first adventure dated 1996. The title, which will be available starting February 12, 2027, promises to rejuvenate the classic mechanics while keeping the magic of the original work intact.

In the game we will be called to travel around the world in search of the buried mysteries of Atlantis. During the journey we will have to explore highly immersive settings and solve historical puzzles, all enriched by spectacular graphics and a strong cinematic imprint. We will also face unforgettable moments, such as the epic clash with the T-Rex, being able to enjoy a completely modernized gameplay and new surprises designed to pay homage to the spirit of the original production, achieving things that were simply not possible at the time.

The development team has released the fifth episode of a series of mini-documentaries aimed at revealing the behind-the-scenes of the production. This specific appointment focuses on a crucial question: what kind of challenge manages to remain etched in the mind long after overcoming it? The guys at Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog explain just how they worked hard to preserve the soul of historical puzzles, expertly updating them for today's audience. We also learn how world-building and level design have been fused to bring to life the deadly traps and puzzles that we will inevitably have to overcome.
