ARK Survival Evolved: Wildcard Study reveals optimizations for Xbox One X

ARK: Survival Evolved was one of the first titles to announce support for Xbox One X, and in August the developers had revealed that the game would go to 1440p and 30 FPS on the new Microsoft console; Wildcard Study today returned to the subject by revealing that there's more thanks to the introduction of two different modes available only on X.

The first, called detailed graphics , is that the studio had hinted in August: in this mode the game will be rendered to 1440p (resolution that some call improperly 2 k) with a frame rate of 30 fps, while the graphic details will be the same as a PC set to "High" and it will also use the technology Truesky (absent in the Xbox One basis) for dynamic rendering of the sky and weather conditions, like on a PC.

The second mode has a name but will allow us to play at 60 fps, so it is ideal for lovers of fluidity. In this mode, however, the game will use the same basic graphic settings Xbox One version, at a resolution of 1080 p. So in this case the Visual rendering will look like but it will be much more stable and fluid.

But that's not all: thanks to the specific characteristics of the new console, such as more memory and internal disk faster, the game will also have other improvements such as faster uploads and a greater distance as possible between the players when you play in local co-op or non-dedicated server, leaning back so a player host from which now we can distance us more.

We will update you as soon as they become available videos that show the improvements of the game on Xbox One X.
