You back to talk about streaming technology for games and Microsoft app

The more alert among you may remember definitely one rumor last September under which Microsoft is reportedly preparing a joint cloud gaming to OnLive and PlayStation Now , able to play Xbox 360 or Xbox titles One on any platform, including PC, browser and Smart TV. Today the rumor buy solidity thanks to reportage of technology site ZDNet, according to which the House of Redmond would actually working on this technology, codenamed "Arcadia".

According to the site, Arcadia will take advantage of the Azure cloud infrastructure and will not allow the use of streaming games, but also to applications; one of the uses that you would like to make this technology is enabling owners of Microsoft devices, as Windows phones, running games and streaming Android app, giving users access to the then massive library of Google and going to atone for one of the biggest problems of Microsoft mobile OS, i.e. the low support from the developer community.

It is unknown for now when this technology will be made public (the Microsoft event of January 21 seem too soon for a similar revelation) and if will be used even within Xbox, provided, however, that with the Italian network quality would be very difficult to play streamed smoothly. We look forward to more innovations.
