MGS v: The Phantom Pain will be more action, next-gen version at TGS

IGN has posted an interesting Preview on Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain , titled " The Splinter Cell effect ", in which he explains how in this episode of the narrative will have less importance compared to previous games in favor of a more modern gameplay and inspired by other series such as Splinter Cell.

IGN explains that, in order to be more attractive for the worldwide audience, the game will introduce mechanisms such as sliding, climbing, marking of enemies and that in general the action seems to prevail than purely stealth, which will play an important role.

One of the novelties will be the executions in slow motion: when a guard you notice of our presence, will appear on the screen a button be pressed: If we are quick in the press will activate a slow motion sequence where we will have the opportunity to shoot the first guard that this gives the alarm.

Another novelty will be auto-regenerating health: we should not then do more reliance on rations to heal our wounds, but simply take cover and wait until the health returns to acceptable levels.

A breakthrough then more stealth-action for Kojima, which distorts some of the concepts behind the series and who, we hope, will not fail to provoke heated discussions. It's no coincidence the editor of IGN writes provocatively, " This is an excellent result of Splinter Cell ".

At the end of the article there is also explained that at the Tokyo Game Show will be finally version Kojima next-gen title-as seen so far was the version for current consoles-and we can then see what to expect it turn on Xbox One .

As a side note, Kojima Productions has just published some pictures of Quiet that give a better idea of the statements yesterday concerning a greater eroticization of the characters.

Metal Gear Solid (V): The Phantom Pain is expected no earlier than 2014.
