New details on the Xbox controller One

Major Nelson has posted on his blog a series of interesting information about the new Xbox controller One, which Microsoft announced having 40 improvements compared to Xbox 360. We find out so that the controller can be "seen" by Kinect just as already announced by Sony for the PS4 controller, but no blue light front: the Xbox One joypad will indeed infrared LEDs to make themselves identifiable from the camera in less intrusive way.

This feature will serve to both console to synchronize easily the first time controllers, both to identify which player holds the controller so you can move the screens of split-screen games when players change d place or find out who is playing at any given time.

Another novelty is also managing battery consumption: Major Nelson explains that when we connect the controller to the console with a USB cable, the radio will be switched off and all data will be transferred via the cable, reducing consumption. Obviously we are talking about the case in which the controller mounts non-rechargeable batteries, while it is not clear whether inserting two AA rechargeable batteries these to load by simply connecting the controller via USB.

When we don't use the controller because maybe we strayed from the console, or you're watching a movie, this will go into a low-power mode that will allow us to resume it at any time using it instantly without having to restart.

Then mention is made of the highest quality audio through the headset connected to the controller, and confirmed four motors for vibration: two main in handles and two smaller on triggers, to allow a more precise feedback and "directional".
