The surprises

Let's start with ads and major surprises: in some cases this was not true surprises because some rumor EC had anticipated, but it's important news. On the front we find the announcement of Microsoft GoW: Judgment and that the arrival of Smart Glass and Internet Explorer , two new features that enrich the offer of multimedia Konsole and with the potential to change the future interaction with the games themselves.

The must-see games

But the E3 was mainly a great showcase for upcoming games and upcoming release, and confirm the quality of productions absolutely unmissable. So we have discovered that Halo 4 will be a game to miss both as regards the campaign that regarding how co-op and competitive multiplayer , demonstrating that 343 Industries is able not only to withstand head-on the heritage received from Bungie, but also produce what promises to be the most visually beautiful game of this generation.

Force Horizon also has proven to be a very interesting blend of simulation with an open world approach, while other very grateful acknowledgements are the splendid Tomb Raider , an excellent Assassin's Creed III , Crysis 3 , Dishonored , Far Cry 3 , Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and many others not mentioned but which are listed in the right column of our page of total coverage . If there is one thing that the E3 showed us is that this generation still has a lot to show and that a seven-year-old hardware as the Xbox 360 is still able to excite and entertain.

The great absent

This does not however prevent us to notice some big absences. If Microsoft had told us not to expect any announcement next-gen, the absence of big announcements for new titles is justified by the fact that many are reserved at the upcoming E3, when will be announced together with the new console.
