During the XBOX Partner Showcase last January, Kuro Games had announced the arrival of Wuthering Waves on XBOX, setting a generic launch window for July 2026. The Chinese studio has now revealed the exact date: the free-to-play title will debut on our consoles on July 10, coinciding with the release of the massive update to Version 3.5.

This new update, entitled "Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns", will bring numerous new features that we will be able to explore from launch day. We will have to enter a new area called Mengzhou: Land of Xuanfang, a territory shaped by ancient melodies, incoming storms and persistent echoes of the past. The expansion of the map will be accompanied by an important continuation of the main storyline.

Specifically, the narrative will guide us through Chapter IV, which will be divided into several acts and will include an unpublished connecting segment. In addition to the story and exploration, the cast will expand with the addition of two new Resonators that we can recruit to our teams. Kuro Games has also confirmed the arrival of a series of technical optimizations, designed to improve the overall gaming experience on the occasion of this long-awaited debut on XBOX.
