After the XBOX Series X|S consoles went up in price last year, it was hoped that this would be the last increase of this type, but unfortunately it was not the case; Microsoft today announced a new increase, caused by the dizzying costs of memory.

Starting August 1, the 500GB XBOX Series S will get a $100 increase, while the 1TB version along with the 1TB XBOX Series X will increase by $150. We expect similar increases in Euros, bringing the price of the flagship, in the version with disc, to 750 Euros, while the one without disc drive will reach 700 Euros. The production of special consoles with a 2 TB disk will eventually be ended.

And it seems that the thing does not end there: Microsoft expects a doubling of the price of memories by the end of 2027, which could lead to further increases next year. If you were interested in an XBOX, therefore, you should definitely get it before August, with the prices still current.
