Hades II is coming to Xbox and Game Pass in April
The title represents the first real sequel ever made by the studio and aims to expand every single aspect that made the original chapter great. After a period spent in Early Access on PC and the subsequent debut on Nintendo platforms, this sequel will allow us to take on the role of the immortal Princess of the Underworld. Our mission will lead us to explore an even wider and deeper mythical world, where we will have to face the forces of the Time Titan counting on the full support of Olympus, within a story that will continue to unravel and evolve with each of our successes or failures.
Unlike in the past, in this new journey we will have the task of mastering witchcraft and the dark arts. We'll be able to infuse the legendary Weapons of the Night with ancient magic to make sure no one can stand in our way. During our raids we will become stronger and stronger thanks to the powerful Gifts granted by over a dozen Olympic gods, including Apollo and Zeus, experimenting with almost unlimited combinations to customize our skills. Between battles, we'll interact with dozens of fully voiced characters, meeting new faces and old friends with whom to bond through unique narrative events based on the progress of our journey.
Each escape attempt will be an adventure in its own right, with new locations, challenges, and upgrade systems to discover. We will be able to unravel the mysteries of the Altar of Arcana, train bewitched familiars and collect rare reagents to get closer to our final goal. To ensure that anyone can enjoy the experience, permanent power-ups and God Mode will return, allowing us to experience the story of Hades II even if we do not possess the reflections of a deity, while maintaining increasing challenges for those who want to prove their worth.
Everything will be presented with the unmistakable style that characterizes Supergiant productions, where an evocative narrative blends with an extremely reactive action. We'll be able to enjoy new hand-painted scenarios, even smoother 3D character models, and an electrifying original soundtrack, elements designed to bring this fascinating mythological world to life on our consoles.
We leave you with the announcement trailer; enjoy!
