Annapurna Interactive announces Forever Ago, a road trip coming later this year
During the adventure we will play the role of Alfred, a man who decides to face the consequences of a personal tragedy by traveling to the north of the USA aboard his minivan. During this route we will have to explore breathtaking natural environments, moving between forest paths, deserts and mountain ranges. We will have the opportunity to interact with different objects to reconstruct the past of the places we will visit and meet fascinating people who will cross our path, making each stage of the journey an opportunity to create new memories.
One of the key elements of the gameplay will be our instant camera. In addition to visually documenting our pilgrimage, we will have to use it to solve small environmental puzzles scattered around the game world. The entire experience, focused on the themes of love and loss, will be accompanied by an original soundtrack signed by Clark Aboud, former author of the music of Slay the Spire.
We just have to wait for the end of the year to find out how far the path of Forever Ago will take us; In the meantime, here is the announcement trailer.
