The acclaimed adventure Dispatch finally comes to Xbox this summer
The title will arrive in a full version that will integrate several features of the Xbox ecosystem to ensure maximum flexibility.
In Dispatch we will play the role of Robert Robertson III, once known as the superhero Mecha Man. After his iconic mechanical armor is shattered during a violent confrontation with his nemesis, Robert finds himself forced to reinvent himself, moving from field action to a more ordinary office job. He will no longer act as a vigilante, but as a switchboard operator at a control center for superheroes, where we will have to manage emergencies and coordinate interventions.
The heart of the experience will see us engaged in assigning missions to a group of heroes decidedly out of the box and full of flaws in a chaotic Los Angeles. We will have to take into account the personality, specific skills and interpersonal relationships of each character, since these elements will directly influence the performance of the tasks assigned. Our choices will have real weight and will shape the narrative through eight episodes, determining the fate of the protagonists and the evolution of the story.
The Xbox edition will fully support the Xbox Play Anywhere program: this means that with a single purchase we will be able to unlock the game on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with cross-save support that will allow us to transfer the progress and consequences of our decisions from one platform to another without interruption. As pointed out by executive producer Michael Choung, the goal is to allow as many people as possible to experience this complicated and human story wherever they choose.
To enrich the adventure we will find a cast of high-profile voice actors that includes the likes of Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, Erin Yvette, Travis Willingham and Matthew Mercer, as well as the participation of well-known faces from the community such as Jacksepticeye and Alanah Pearce. We just have to wait for the summer to test ourselves with the management of these bizarre superheroes.
We leave you to the announcement trailer of the Xbox version: enjoy!
