Screamer: Milestone announces an event at GAMM in Rome to celebrate the return of the franchise

On March 26, Milestone is preparing to launch the new arcade racer Screamer, which will see the return in an unprecedented guise of the historic 1995 title that wrote a fundamental page in the Italian gaming market. To celebrate this great return, a special event will be held on Thursday 26 March starting at 18:00 at the GAMM Museum in Rome, in Via delle Terme di Diocleziano.

The evening, accessible with a ticket of 15 euros, will offer a rich program designed to fully explore the universe of the franchise.

During the event, we'll have the opportunity to attend an open-door panel moderated by film critic Eva Carducci, during which members of the Milestone development team will share the background and challenges faced to reinvent Screamer after thirty years, illustrating the choice to embrace the influences of Japanese animation.

The event will be framed by an unprecedented exhibition, curated by the Director of the museum Massimo Triulzi in collaboration with the development team, which will remain open until the end of April. The exhibition will bring together thirty original works, including concept art, artwork and preparatory sketches, allowing us to admire the visual evolution and the entire creative process behind the project up close.

The evening will also see the participation of the illustrator Matteo De Longis, author of "LOSS, A SCREAMER STORY". It is an original comic commissioned by Milestone to further expand the narrative universe of Screamer by fully marrying the atmosphere of the videogame work. The artist will be available to those present to talk about his work and for a signing session on a special original print dedicated to the title. Finally, to crown the launch event, we will be able to go wild with the DJ Set curated by DJ LaBlonde, entirely based on the notes of the game's soundtrack.
