The guys at 4J Studios, the Scottish team known for initially bringing Minecraft to consoles, have announced that the pre-alpha of their ambitious new sandbox project, Reforj, is now accessible to all Xbox players via the Xbox Insider program.

Developed in-house thanks to the proprietary Elements Engine, the title promises to set no limits to our creativity. Within the game we will be able to explore vast exotic biomes, procedurally generated and entirely based on voxels. During our adventure in this open world, not only will we be able to collect various Elements to survive and build cozy bases or real architectural masterpieces thanks to advanced sculpting tools, but we will also have to venture out to discover the mysteries hidden by a lost civilization.

After less than a year of testing behind closed doors, the team decided to expand access to new "Pioneers" to help them shape the future of development. Thanks to the numerous updates released so far and born from community feedback, the game has already been enriched with highly requested features such as the cooperative multiplayer sector and creatures designed directly by fans, such as the Stalac, a caveman monster devouring minerals. Whether you prefer free creative expression or raw survival, the experience aims to offer something for every palate.

Participation in this testing phase of Reforj is completely free for all members of the Xbox Insider program. This is an excellent opportunity to test the game and actively influence its roadmap in view of the final launch.
