Fuse Games has given us a new look at the adrenaline-pumping competitions of the galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a title that will put us behind the wheel of the fastest vehicles in the Star Wars universe. The game, which is scheduled to launch in 2026, promises to reinvent the concept of sci-fi racing through a high-tension structure and the return of one of the most beloved sports by fans: podraces.

In the game we will be introduced to the Galactic League, an unauthorized racing league born in the lawless territories of the Outer Rim, currently under the control of the dishonest Kestar Bool. The story will see us take on the role of Shade, a lone pilot who harbors a strong personal grudge against the Bool family. We will be hired by organizer Darius Pax to help him reclaim control of the league and defeat Kestar once and for all. Through an engaging campaign, we will be able to choose a branched path of events to earn mechanical parts, tools and upgrades necessary to guarantee us a competitive advantage in the championship.

Together with the mechanic Hibi, we will have the opportunity to build the ultimate vehicle by adapting it to our personal driving style. We will be able to test different configurations on a wide range of overrun vehicles, from classic landspeeders and speeder bikes to the very powerful podracers. The ability to adapt and master new strategies, forging alliances and taking down rivals along the way, will be key to our climb to the title of Galactic League champions.

The adventure will not be limited to the campaign alone, as we will be able to explore different game modes to hone our talent. The online component will allow us to challenge up to 12 drivers in battles to the last overtaking, while the Arcade mode will offer precision challenges and time trials for those who aim to dominate the world rankings. Finally, the Scenarios mode will offer us races with unique conditions, ideal for pushing our skills as drivers to the limit in view of the official debut of the game.
