Surprisingly during the TGA, Lucasfilm Games announced the sequel to the glorious Knights of the Old Republic, or Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic, a new RPG set in the world of Star Wars.

The game is developed by Arcanaut Games, a Canadian studio founded by Casey Hudson, ex-BioWare director of the original KOTOR as well as the entire original Mass Effect trilogy; the studio is home to numerous veterans of BioWare, as well as Microsoft, Epic, Remedy, The Coalition and ZeniMax. In short, the development of the title seems to be in excellent hands!
