On the occasion of TGS, EA and Battlefield Studios have finally revealed the first, substantial information on the single-player Campaign of the new and highly anticipated Battlefield 6, also showing it to us in a new trailer.

The developers have revealed that, unlike the last two chapters, this time we will not have a series of episodic "War Stories", but a single adrenaline-pumping adventure that will take us to fight across three continents.

In the campaign we will play the role of various members of the Dagger 1-3, an elite team of Marine Raiders, whose purpose will be to stop the Pax Armata, a private military company that is trying to alter the balance of global power, taking advantage of the fact that NATO is on the verge of collapse. Throughout the story we will find ourselves fighting in a vast battle between tanks in the shadow of the pyramids, we will be involved in intense firefights in the streets of Brooklyn and we will have to parachute into enemy territory.

During the adventure we will be able to impersonate the different members of the Dagger 1-3 team, each with its own story and peculiarities. Among these we will find Haz Carter, the team leader and assault expert; Dylan Murphy, a sapper with great strategic skills; Simone "Gecko" Espina, the reconnaissance expert and new recruit of the team; Cliff Lopez, the selfless supporter, and Lucas Hemlock, a mysterious CIA operator with a top-secret past.

As per tradition for the series, our team will be a key element for success. In fact, we can give orders to the Dagger 1-3, asking it to attack the enemy forces to keep them under pressure while we move to outflank them or hit them from a distance with a grenade. In addition, the possibility of impersonating the different veterans of the team will allow us to take advantage of their respective talents and skills to get the better of the battlefield.

The world and events of Battlefield 6's single-player campaign will also be interconnected with multiplayer. The mission of the Dagger 1-3 will take us to places and battles that we can then relive in the iconic "All-out warfare" modes, in which the remaining NATO forces will clash with the Pax Armata. We will thus find the famous situations in which soldiers fight between ruined buildings while tanks sow destruction and fighters battle in the skies. We will be able to choose our preferred playstyle thanks to the return of the class system, which will allow us to jump into the front lines as a Strike, destroy enemy vehicles as an Engineer, eliminate enemies from a distance as a Recon or support teammates as a Support, with the ability to instantly revive fallen allies.
