From Gamescom's Opening Night Live comes the announcement by Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive of a new title: Road Kings, a next-generation truck simulator coming in 2026.

In Road Kings we will take control of a 40-ton articulated truck to transport goods through the landscapes of the southern United States, from Jacksonville to Savannah. Our career will start at the bottom, as novice drivers, with the goal of making our way through the competition, forging valuable alliances and facing unforeseen dangers to become an established owner-operator.

We will therefore have to manage routes, loads and customer requests in a game world that aims to be realistic and responsive. The game promises a next-generation simulation in which every aspect of our truck will have its importance: from weight to wear, passing through brakes, torque, tires and transmission, without forgetting the dynamic weather conditions and the different road surfaces. We will be able to drive for long distances aboard trucks of real brands, faithfully recreated and customizable.

The title will also include a narrative component: we will find ourselves in a world where a ruthless corporation is expanding in the South, threatening to cause catastrophes in the name of profit. When disaster strikes, we will be the only ones who can intervene to save communities, delivering essential supplies. Added to this is an asynchronous multiplayer that will allow us to join or create a company, climbing the global rankings.
