During Opening Night Live (ONL), John Carpenter's Toxic Commando made an explosive appearance, confirming his over-the-top style and the release scheduled for 2026.

The plot of the game is set in the near future, where an experiment to harness the energy of the Earth's core has caused a disaster, turning living beings into undead monsters. To solve the situation, the genius behind the experiment hires a team of not-so-top-level mercenaries: the Toxic Commandos. The title promises to combine action, horror and exaggerated humor, with the typical "buddy movie" atmospheres of 80s cinema, all with the involvement of legendary director John Carpenter.

In the game we will have to face hordes of creatures both on foot and behind the wheel of vehicles, in an explosive cocktail of first-person shooter action and off-road driving. We will be able to team up with up to 4 friends in cooperative mode, with full support for cross-play between PC and consoles. The massive hordes of enemies will be handled by Saber's Swarm Engine, the same technology used for World War Z: Aftermath. We will be able to choose our character's class and unleash an arsenal of firearms, grenades, katanas and special abilities, enhancing our skills to face increasingly difficult challenges.
