Microsoft announces XBOX Nano Controller, the most compact controller ever
We are talking about a device about 13 centimeters long, and weighing just under 100 grams: measurements that make it shorter and lighter than most modern smartphones. However, the small size does not come at the expense of the controls, since the Nano offers all 18 standard inputs and retains the arrangement we are already used to with the traditional controller.
The target audience is younger players, those with smaller hands or those who are simply looking for a solution to take with them. Precisely for this reason, it can become a more accessible way to have an extra pad at home and play titles like Minecraft Dungeons II as a family, in which we can team up with up to four heroes, both in local co-op in the living room and online. At the same time, its compactness allows you to easily slip it into your bag and take it on trips or to the home of friends and relatives, so that you can continue to play, for example, Forza Horizon 6 even away from the couch.
On board we find a rechargeable battery and a programmable Action Button, which we can customize to take screenshots, record game clips or recall the shortcuts we use most often. The support for XBOX Wireless and Bluetooth also allows it to be connected without complications to a wide range of compatible devices.
