Deep Silver informs us that from today it is possible to pre-order Metro 2039, the new episode of the acclaimed FPS / survival series by 4A Games scheduled for February 4, 2027. At the same time as the opening of pre-orders, the bonus reserved for those who pre-order, the content of the three available editions (Standard, Deluxe and Collector's Edition) and the presence of a story expansion DLC, arriving after the release, were revealed.

Let's start with the bonus, valid for any edition and platform. This is the Specialist Pack, which contains three blueprints capable of unlocking as many unique and interchangeable upgrades for the backpack in advance. The blueprints represent one of the novelties of Metro 2039: designed to push us to explore every corner of the tunnels, they will allow us to make upgrades and accessories for weapons and equipment. The pack will therefore guarantee us a small advantage in the early stages of the Outlander's journey, but it will have to be used wisely, since we can only equip one upgrade at a time.

If we prefer to focus on production, the Equipment Specialist Upgrade will allow us to craft advanced weapons and equipment faster. On the other hand, those who focus on exploring wastelands will find the Technochemical Specialist Upgrade a valuable ally, with more gas mask filters and cleaner, more reliable equipment. Finally, the Ammo Specialist Upgrade will help us find and exploit rarer and more powerful projectiles for our arsenal.

Moving on to the editions, all three include the full game and can be booked on any platform, with Standard and Deluxe offered in both digital and physical formats. The Standard Edition simply offers the game, via code or disc.

The Deluxe Edition is the one that brings with it the story expansion DLC, which will arrive after launch and on which more details will be provided later. In a digital version, this edition adds the digital artbook and the official soundtrack. The physical Deluxe, in addition to the disc, DLC, digital artbook and digital soundtrack, also includes an exclusive SteelBook, a hardcover artbook and custom packaging.

The highlight, however, is the Collector's Edition, which fully includes the physical Deluxe Edition and adds a wearable replica of the Stranger's iconic Spartan helmet , faithfully and carefully reproduced, complete with the marks left by battles. The complete content therefore includes the game disc, the helmet, the exclusive SteelBook, the hardcover artbook, the story expansion DLC, the digital artbook and the digital soundtrack.

We now leave you with the trailer dedicated to the pre-orders and the teaser of the Collector's Edition of METRO 2039, enjoy!
