Bandai Namco Entertainment today announced Tales of Xillia Remastered, an enhanced re-release of the JRPG released in 2011 as a PS3 exclusive. The game, which will offer us improved graphics and features, will arrive on October 31 for the first time on Xbox.

In Tales of Xillia Remastered we will immerse ourselves in the magnificent world of Rieze Maxia, a place where spirits and humans coexist in harmony. The game stands out for being the first in the Tales of series to allow us to choose at the beginning of the adventure between two different protagonists, thus revealing the plot from their specific point of view.

Our adventure will begin when the balance of Rieze Maxia is threatened. We will play the role of Jude Mathis, a young medical student, or Milla Maxwell, the powerful Lady of the Spirits. An ominous series of events will lead us to discover a dangerous secret weapon in the hands of the kingdom of Rashugal, forcing us to flee. In the role of the pragmatic Jude or the spiritual Milla, we will have to put aside differences to bring together two opposing nations, one governed by spiritual powers and the other by scientific progress, in an attempt to avert an imminent war.

This new remastered version will offer updated graphics and several improvements to the gameplay experience, such as the introduction of autosave and early access to the Grade Shop, designed to facilitate both new players and long-time fans. Tales of Xillia Remastered will also include all downloadable content released for the original version, such as character costumes, bonus items, and other extras.
